Would be nice if there is some way to completely undo all changes that the installer made...
My problem is I'm trying to get something to copy to the mount of the normal install [from OUTSIDE Debian. So from /sdcard to wherever the debian /mnt/usr/src is]
And I don't know where that is, in this installer. The original one from Saurik's page is what's needed, but I can't install it because I get errors from previously installing the non-Saurik installer (see this page for more info)
:/

Making PATH Permanente

Ok I’m am not 100% sure if this will work but I can’t see any reason why not

There is a file called init.rc that be found in /init.rc

Line 7 Reads

export PATH /usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/bin:/sbin:/system/sbin:/system/bin:/system/xbin:/system/xbin/bb:/data/local/bin

So here we go

1. Type adb pull /init.rc c:init.rc
2. Add the busybox path to the line
3. Type adb push c:init.rc /init.rc

Please note this is untested I am testing now

Had the same errors, modprobe ext2 was the way it worked for me.

But now it works ^^
Now installing tightvncserver and a WM will follow!

(oops, didn't see the screenshot post with these errors in it too...sorry for doubleposting...)

Hmm, now I had mine working just fine, even had the GUI up and running...and then I updated to the latest JF release so that I could get Lattitude, etc..and now when I run bootdeb, I get the following:

[right after the penguin]
mount: mounting /dev/block/loop2 on /data/local/mnt failed: Invalid argument
mount: mounting devpts on /data/local/mnt/dev/pts failed: No such file or directory
mount: mounting proc on /data/local/mnt/proc failed: No such file or directory
mount: mounting sysfs on /data/local/mnt/sys failed: No such file or directory

Anyone seen this before? Is this hack compatible with the latest JF release? Should I just delete my debian.img and re-put it on the sdcard?

Thanks!
