I give up for tonight. I dont know what it is i screwed up this time. Debian boots up fine with no problems, vnc seems to connect fine, but this is the screen i get.

Try dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg-input-kbd or if that doesn't work dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

And OctoberRiot, you sure you added the right two lines on your xstartup, and formatted the file correctly?

A word of warning: android will only mount /sdcard if it is formatted as a FAT filesystem, so the filesize of the new debian.img must be < 4gb.

Although perhaps if you have an ext2 partition, busybox and the ext2 kernel module you could put the debian.img on that? Wouldn't have any size problems then

android mounted a 7.1GB FAT32 partition just fine for me.

Edit: actually, even weirder...it mounted my 8GB SD card with NO partitions and NO formatting and used it just fine.
